The existing group name of BTS was created using the word bulletproof, meaning bulletproof, meaning "boys who fight against prejudice and oppression in society in their teens and 20s." However, as overseas activities became more active, the meaning of the English name BTS needed to be unified. In the meantime, there was a lot of confusion about Bangtan Boys and Bulletproof Boy Scout. Through this rebranding project, BTS has created a new image of 'growth and transcendence of youth beyond reality' in consideration of the various musical moves that will carry out more concepts in the future. Thus, BTS was defined as the abbreviation for Beyond The Scene and expanded its meaning.
